Hermelinda C. Ayala passed away April 26, 2009.  

She is preceded in death by her husband, Arthur Ayala 2002. She is survived by her four children, Cecilia Gutierrez of Beaverton, OR; Virginia Trujillo of Granada Hills; Alice Pratt of Modesto and Victor Ayala of Ripon; 16 grandchildren; 15 great grandchildren; and her sister, Carolina Pacho of West Covina.

Hermelinda was an active member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church and she enjoyed singing, gardening, reading, traveling, camping, visiting friends and attending family reunions.  A visitation will be held at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel on Thursday, April 30,  from 6 to 8 p.m.  Mass will be held at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church on Friday, May 1, at noon with burial following at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Food for the Poor, 6401 Lyons Road, Coconut Creek, FL. 33073 or to Community Hospice 4368 Spyres Way, Modesto, CA. 95356.
