Hildred Marion Einfeld

Hildred Marion Einfeld went to be with her Lord on May 18, 2010. She was born January 10, 1922, in Vesper, Wisconsin. She is survived by her husband of 22 years, Frank Einfeld.

Hildred was the oldest daughter of Edith and John Vanden Hoek. Her siblings are Calvin Vanden Hoek, Ken Vanden Hoek, Elaine Van, and the late Julius Vanden Hoek.

In 1944, Hildred married Robert John Vonhof, who preceded her in death in 1963. Their children include Sandra Lee Andriese of San Lorenzo, John Albert Vonhof of Manteca, Robert Clifford Vonhof of Redding, Marlene Joyce Schoo of Idaho, and Victoria Ann Vonhof of Modesto. Hildred married Frank Einfeld in 1986, and they moved to Walnut Creek in 2000 and then toRipon in 2005. They have been members of Zion United Reformed Church since moving to Ripon.

Hildred leaves behind grandchildren Laura Ann Vegas and Scott Anthony Vonhof of Manteca, Wendy Marie Vonhof of Colorado, Michael Shawn Vonhof of Missouri, Meagan Joy Vonhof of Redding, Rachael Lynn Swan of Oceanside, Bradley John Andriese of Mountain House, and Stephanie Rachael Whittaker of Idaho. Great-grandchildren include Alyssa Ann Dezell and Sarah Lynn Vegas of Manteca, and Zachary John Andriese of Mountain House.

Through her second marriage, Hildred is survived by stepchildren Sharon Gould and Douglas Einfeld of Michigan, David Einfeld of South Carolina, and Carl Einfeld of Washington.

Visitation and service will be on Saturday, May 22, at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel; her visitation will be from 1 to 3 p.m.; her Chapel service will follow at 3 p.m.  In lieu of flowers, remembrances may be sent to Sierra Salem Christian Homes, P.O.
