OBIT LEE

Inez Lee, of Manteca, passed away on November 13, 2011, at the age of 93.  Mrs. Lee was born in Phillipsburg, Missouri to John and Virdie (Robertson) Franklin and was raised in Missouri. 

On May 7, 1935 she married Robert Ezell Lee in Long Lane, Missouri.  They lived in Missouri until 1945 and then they moved to Lodi.  Eventually, they moved to Manteca in 1972.  She loved her family, her home, and gardening.

She was a lifetime member of the Church of Christ.  Mrs. Lee is survived by her sons, Melvin (Lynette) Lee of  Manteca, Robert E. (Jeanne) Lee, of  Kansas, Delmer (Diane) Lee of Oregon, Terry (Valerie) Lee of  Manteca, daughters; Bonnie (Glane) Harris of Missouri, Donna (Bill) Stanley of Yuba City; eighteen grandchildren; and numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert E. Lee, on January 21, 2001.  sister, Venus Triplett; and brothers,  Everette, Stanford, Roy and Baby Franklin.  Friends are invited to visit  Wednesday, November 16, from 10:00 a.m. until 8:00 p.m. and Thursday from 8:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. at Lodi Funeral Home. 

Funeral services will be held Thursday, November 17, at 1:00 p.m. at the funeral home with committal to follow at Cherokee Memorial Park.  A virtual register book may be signed at www.lodifuneralhome.com where memories can be shared.  Lodi Funeral Home is assisting the family the arrangements.
