Ione Fay Tracy, 84, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, July 2nd, 2011 in Ripon. She was born on March 15th, 1927 in Barron WI.

Ione leaves behind her loving children: Stan Smith of Manteca, Lonnie Smith and wife Joan of FL, Sandy Grubb of OR, Steve Smith and wife Peggy of FL, and Renee DeStefano and husband Dave of Ripon. She was blessed with 11 grandchildren, 15 great grand children and 2 great great grandchildren.

Ione was a resident of Manteca for 50 years and recently of Ripon for 12. She was a member of the United Lutheran Church, but since moving to Ripon, Ione had been attending Bethany Fellowship. Ione was member of the VFW Post 1051 ladies auxiliary. She enjoyed embroidering, quilting, crossword puzzles and her daily devotions and Bible reading. She was loved by all who knew her and she will be remembered for her quiet, gentle spirit and large loving heart.

Arrangements for Mrs. Tracy are under the direction of P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 North Union Road, Manteca. A visitation will be held on Thursday, July 7th from 2-5pm at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home. A graveside service will be held at East Union Cemetery on Friday, July 8th, 2011 at 9:30 a.m. followed by a Celebration of Life Service at 11 am at The Almond Valley Christian Reformed Church, 333 South Wilma, Ripon, CA 95366.
