Irene Aguilar, 75, entered into rest on January 20, 2021 in Manteca, CA. She was born on November 4, 1945 in Stockton, CA.
   She is preceded in death by her parents, Lawrence and Consuelo Rivas, son, Johnny Aguilar and son-in-law Steve Gannon.
   Irene is survived by her loving family, husband of 53 years John Aguilar, daughters, Rhonda Gannon and Teresa Aguilar, grandchildren, Ashlee, Noah, Alycia, Victorio, Kirsten, Stephanie and Austin, one great-grandson, Steven and two brothers, Richard and Charlie Rivas.
   Irene grew up in Stockton graduating from Franklin High in 1964. She married the love of her life John in 1966 and they made their home in Manteca for over 53 years. Irene was a mother and grandmother to many, she was a wonderful daycare provider raising her daycare children as her own. Irene treated all of her children, grandchildren, cousins, and neighborhood children with open arms, loving them unconditionally. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and was involved in many activities throughout the years, member and past president of the PTA (Golden West School), State PTA, Boy Scouts (Den Mother), Girl Scouts, Ladies Axillary, Manteca High Block M and attended many youth and high school sporting events. Irene will be remembered as a loving wife, a devoted mother and an amazing grandmother. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Aguilar family. Due to COVID19 all services are private. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations can be sent to Hospice of San Joaquin 3888 Pacific Ave. Stockton Ca. 95204.
