Jack Davis, 82, passed away peacefully at his home on January 12, 2018 in Modesto, California. He was born on December 24, 1935 in Lubbock, Texas to his parents Ferman and Mary Davis.
   Jack leaves behind his loving wife of over fifty years, Linda Davis, his children Brian Davis of Rohnert Park, Glenn Davis (Patty) of Ripon, and his grandchildren Brandon and Zachary Davis. Jack is preceded in death by his parents and son John Davis.
   Our beautiful, loving husband and father, Jack, has gone on to the embrace of his greatest love… our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. He worked tirelessly and provided lifelong love and support to his wife Linda, and his family. Jack and Linda were married for fifty-one years that were filled with the joyful adventure of life.
   In his early years, Jack attended Life Bible College and was a warrior for Jesus Christ, and continued sharing the love of our Lord with folks throughout his life’s journey. He encouraged and counseled countless young men through his volunteer work with Future Farmers of America and Youth for Christ Juvenile Hall Ministry. Jack and his wife worked closely together in various business ventures throughout their marriage.
Jack made a difference in the life he lived. He will be missed greatly.
   A memorial service will be held on Monday, February 26, at 11a.m. at Calvary Reformed Church in Ripon.
