Dad passed away on Nov.26, 2008 at the age of 58. He was a much loved man by both friends and family. He was predeceased by his beloved wife Lori Rocha, his mother Dorothy, and his father Anthony Rocha Sr. He is survived by his two brothers- Steven and Anthony Rocha Jr. and two sisters Janet Ollermen and Beverly Munson.  He will be missed by his grandson Jeremiah and his daughter Dorothy Shawl.

He was a friend to many people, rarely turning away from anyone needing assistance whether family, friend or complete stranger. He had the ability to look at and solve quite a few problems and could fix just about anything. He also enjoyed an outrageous sense of humor, loved a good practical joke, and had a phenomenal memory for trivia or jokes—he appreciated the humor to be found in everyday life and sharing it with family and friends.

He was a mechanic born — as a child he would take things apart to figure out how they worked and then put them back together (a habit that I’m sure his parents found both amusing and frustrating). He appreciated the challenge of fixing things and took great satisfaction in putting things into better shape than they were ever intended to be.

He was a grandfather made. He enjoyed spending time with his grandson Jeremiah and was a loving presence in his life from the start. Jeremiah thinks the world of his Grandpa and misses him very much.

He was my Dad. While that may be a simple statement, it means much more than it can ever convey. Jeremiah and I miss him very much.

Private Services were held.
