James Wilkerson was born November 21, 1954 and entered in to rest on September 18, 2014, after a brief illness. He leaves behind his wife, Retta Wilkerson, one son, Richard Wilkerson of Manteca, one daughter, Calisa Wilkerson of Manteca. He leaves behind his father, Billy Wilkerson of Oklahoma, his sister, Karen Officer of Tracy, and Brian Wilkerson of Manteca. He has four grandchildren, Austin and Tyler Wilkerson of Manteca, Grace O’Brien of Manteca and Lily Wilkerson of Jamestown. He was an avid hunter. He was preceded in death by his mother, LaDonna Wilkerson.
