James Floyd Van Zant passed away on April 30, 2010 in Manteca, CA. He was born on January 30, 1939 in Padan, Oklahoma and lived in Manteca, CA for 35 years. He worked for Montgomery Wards department store and the Purex Corporation in Southern California. He served in the United States Air Force. James will be deeply missed by all that knew him.

He is survived by his brothers, Lee Van Zant, and William Darrill Van Zant Sr. and his sister Eula Mae Van Zant Tarpley.

A memorial service for James will be held on Friday, May 7, 2010 at 11 a.m. at Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca.  Arrangements were handled by Park View Funeral Home.
