James (Jimmy) Gray, at 52 years young, entered into paradise on March 24, 2014. He was a wonderful Dad, husband, son, brother, papa, uncle, cousin, and friend. He was an unforgettable man who touched the lives of everyone who knew him. He inspired many with his wisdom and insight and led by example. He will truly be missed. His family’s hearts are heavy and broken but they know that he is in a better place now and that his spirit will live on for an eternity.
   Jimmy was born March 29, 1961, in Sacramento, Ca.  He grew up in Stockton and was a Manteca resident for the past 25 years.  He worked in construction for 35 years, including several years with Diede Construction.  He loved the outdoors and spending time with his family.
   Jimmy is preceded in death by his father, Gordon Gray, and stepfather, Ralph Alejandre.  He leaves behind his wife Kathy Gray; daughters Amanda Gray, Jessica Arellin; and Nichole Gray Strickland; mother Marlene Alejandre; sister Laura Weed; brothers David Gray and Gary Gray; step- brothers Jeff Alejandre and Jerry Alejandre.  He also leaves behind eight grandchildren and many uncles, aunts, cousin, nephews and nieces.
   A Celebration of Life to honor the memory of Jimmy (James) will take place on Sunday, April 6 at 3 p.m., at the Breadfruit Tree Patio at Paradise Point Marina, 8095 Rio Blanco Road, Stockton Ca.
   In lieu of flowers, the family asks for donations to be sent to Optimal Hospice Care, 1101 Sylvan Ave. Suite B-10, Modesto, Ca. 95350.
