   Jason Franscella, 41, passed away on December 14th, in Kuna, Idaho. He was born in Manteca, CA, grew up and attended Ripon Elementary School and graduated from Ripon High in 1992, then enrolling at Delta College.  After graduating from Delta College in 1994,  he attended the University of New Mexico on a full ride baseball scholarship and graduated in 1997.  After graduating from college,  he came back to Ripon and married the love of his life. 
    He is survived by his loving wife, Candy Franscella and his two daughters Nina and Maya, his parents, John and Carol Franscella, brother Jamie Franscella (Samantha), and grandmother Elsie O’Brien.  His father and mother in laws, LaDonna Cano and Pablo and Rachel Cano.  He also leaves many loving aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. 
   He was preceded in death by his grandparents Elmer and Lucy Franscella and Joe Vander Weide.
   Memorial services will be held on Tuesday, December 23, 2014, at Cano Funeral Home, 2164 East Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd in Stockton at 1pm with a reception to follow at Ripon’s VFW Post 1051, located at 12455 West Ripon Road in Ripon.
   In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jason’s name to Marissas Closet in Ripon.  Donations can be made either by PayPal at www.marissascloset.org or by check, made out to Marrissas Closet and mailed or dropped off at Oak Valley Bank, 150 N. Wilma Ave, Ripon, CA., 95366.
