Jason Sewell, 41, met his Savior Jesus Christ on September 13, 2012 in Manteca, CA. Jason was born on April 1, 1971 in Mountain View, CA. Jason joins his step- father Ralph Flannery in heaven.

Jason is survived by his parents Patricia Lynn Sewell and Irwin Sewell; his two loving children, Patricia Lee Sewell and Jacob Sewell, his former wife and the mother of his children, Kathleen Sewell. He has three sisters whom he loved dearly, Jenifer Sewell, Jessica Sewell and Veronica Miller. He is also survived by the love of his life fiancé Kassandra Bolin and many extended family members whom he cherished.

Jason was a member of His Way Baptist Church of Manteca and a well respected counselor with His Way Recovery House in Manteca, where he wore many hats in many different departments. He was blessed to be part of the Prison Ministries program and family outreach. With a smile that could light up a room and a magnetic personality; Jason was loved by people from all walks of life.  Jason’s goal in life was to lead by example and love unconditionally without judgment. He had inexhaustible kindness which was extended to anyone accepting of his generosity. Family meant the world to Jason, “extended family” was never in his vocabulary; he loved everyone as if they were immediate family. Jason will be remembered as an amazing father, a wonderful son, a supportive and loving brother and devoted friend. Jason’s absence from our lives is unbearable.

P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home is honored to be serving the Sewell family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, September 20 from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, September 21 at 10:00 a.m. also at P.L. Fry & Son.  Jason will be laid to rest at Park View Cemetery.
