Born in Arizona on February 17, 1950, Jayme Romero Sr. “Hime” entered into rest on December 17, 2017 in Manteca, CA.
   Hime is survived by his sons, Hime Romero Jr. (Diana) and Matthew Romero (Amber). He was blessed with six grand- children Lucas, Sergio, Trinity, Isabella, Mattisan and Genesis. In addition Hime is survived by three siblings, Susie Romero, Mary Elena Mello and David A. Romero “Taco”.
   A 63 year resident of both Manteca and Tracy, Hime retired from the Lawrence Livermore Lab as a Custodian Supervisor. He was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and grew up serving as an altar boy at St. Bernard’s Catholic Church of Tracy. He enjoyed spending time at the Senior Center, visiting local casinos and pool halls, western movies, visiting local restaurants, and taking road trips all along the coast, camping with his family. He was a fan of classic rock music and an avid football fan loving the Chargers, Steelers and the Seahawks. Above all, Hime’s family meant the world to him. He enjoyed spending quality time with his boys and cherished special times with his grandchildren. Hime will be remembered for his upbeat funny sense of humor and for his giving generous heart. He will be deeply missed.
