Don’t grieve for me, for now I’m free. I’m following the path God laid for me. I took his hand when I heard him call. I turned my back and left it all. I could not stay another day to laugh, to love, to work or play. Tasks undone must stay that way. I found that peace at close of day. If my parting has left a void then fill it with remembered joy. A friendship share, a laugh, a kiss, ah, yes, these things I too will miss. Be not burdened with times of sorrow I wish you the sunshine of tomorrow. My life’s been full; I’ve savored much, good friends, good times, and a loved one’s touch. Perhaps my time seemed all to brief, don’t lengthen it now with undue grief. Lift up your hearts and share with me, God wanted me now; He set me free!

In Heaven she will be reunited with her parents; beloved husband, Henry F. Brooks and son Gunner E. Brooks.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, February 25, 2012 for additional information please call (209)814-0119. In following with Mrs. Brooks wishes her ashes will be scattered over the Sierra Mountains. Memorable contributions can be made in Jeanette’s name to Goodwill Industries. An on-line guest book is available at www.frymemorialchapel.com for condolences and special messages to the family.
