Jeanette Marie Mathews, 19, passed away suddenly on Friday, April 17, 2009 in Fresno. She was born June 1, 1989 in Stockton to Kim and Marie Mathews.

Jeanette graduated from East Union High School, class of 2007. She was currently a sophomore at Fresno Pacific University. She loved music and recently had the amazing opportunity to perform at Carnegie Hall in New York City. She also enjoyed baking, playing with her dog Sandy, and just hanging out with her many friends.

She is survived by her parents, Kim and Marie Mathews; brother, Stephen Mathews; grandparents, Mary Jo Mathews, Vince and Dorothy Indelicato, and great grandmother Mary P. Cardoza, all of Manteca

A Celebration of Life will be held Thursday, April 23, at 3 p.m., at Calvary Community Church, 815 West Lathrop Road, Manteca. In lieu of flowers, remembrances can be made in Jeanette’s name to Fresno Pacific University Music Department, 1717 South Chestnut Avenue, Fresno, CA 93702 or Calvary Community Church, 815 West Lathrop Road, Manteca 95336.
