Jeff DeRosa, 52, entered into rest on Friday, April 2, in Manteca. He was born on February 1, 1958 in Concord, California, to the late Mr. and Mrs. William and Gail DeRosa.
 
Mr. DeRosa is survived by his loving wife of 26 years Kathy DeRosa. His children are Kayla DeRosa and companion Adam Altstadt of Manteca, Michael DeRosa of Manteca and Marina Gail DeRosa of Manteca. He was blessed with one granddaughter Leah Altstadt. He has 3 siblings, Denise O’Brien and husband Bob of Woodland, Tracy Freeman and husband Dave of Woodland and Paul DeRosa of Sacramento. In addition Jeff is survived by his best friend Rick Fowzer of Manteca.

Jeff is the former owner and founder of Moonlight Limousine Company and Executive Transportation Company, both in Manteca. He was a resident of Manteca for the past 18 years. He grew up in Concord, California and graduated from Concord High School in 1976. While in high school Jeff excelled in baseball where he enjoyed playing third base. He had a passion for sprint car racing and at one time owned and drove his own sprint car. Jeff’s most important interest in life was his granddaughter; Leah brought great joy to his heart as he adored her and loved her unconditionally.

Mr. DeRosa’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be held on Thursday April 8, from 1 to 7 p.m. followed by a Rosary at 7 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday April 9, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 525 E. North St. Manteca. His final resting place is private.
