Jennie Holfman passed away on August 4, 2009 at the age of 99 at the Bethany Home in Ripon California.  Jennie was born May 4, 1910 in Platte, South Dakota, and moved to Ripon, California, with her family in 1919. Jennie was a public accountant most of her life as well as a homemaker and mother.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 44 years, Edward Holfman; sisters Jesse DenDulk and Josie DeJong, and brothers Jake Winters and Ed Winters. Jennie is survived by her son Daryl and wife Laurie Holfman, grandchildren Lindsay Groppetti, Ashley Burgess and husband Rhett, and Brent Holfman; her great-grandchildren Austin Groppetti and Garrett Burgess; and brother Pete Winters, all of Manteca, California.

Jennie had a love for life, family and friends, but most of all had a love for her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.  She was on the first board of directors of the Bethany Home and served as bookkeeper for 17 years. Jennie was a member of Immanuel Christian Reformed Church in Ripon for the past 62 years.

Visitation will be held at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 S. Palm Ave., on Monday, August 10, from 2-5 p.m.

Graveside services will be held at Ripon Cemetery 320 N. Stockton Road, at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, Aug. 11, followed by a memorial service at 11 a.m. at Immanuel Christian Reformed Church, 517 Orange Ave., Ripon, Calif.
