Jeremiah A. “Jeremy” Goodman, 20 years of age, passed on August 10, 2009.  Jeremy was serving a 4 year enlistment in the United States Army.  He had been stationed at Fort Benning, Georgia for the past 2 years, where he recently completed the qualifications for the rank of E-5.

Jeremy graduated from Bret Harte High School in Angels Camp, California in June of 2007.

He is survived by his parents Joe and Shawna Goodman, and 2 brothers David Byous and Bryon Goodman all residents of Copperopolis, California.  He is also survived by his grandparents, aunts, uncles and cousins throughout California, Arizona and Texas.

Viewing will be on Friday, Aug. 14 from 5 to 8 p.m. at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel, 111 S. Palm Avenue in Ripon.  His memorial service will be on Saturday, Aug, 15, at  noon at Deegan Ripon Memorial Chapel with his burial following at Ripon Cemetery, 320 N.
