 Jesse Arevalo Piceno passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving family on Jan. 4. Jesse was born in Amarillo Texas on Aug. 21, 1940 to parents Epimenio M. Piceno and Erlinda Arevalo Piceno.  He was fifth of nine children.  

The Piceno family moved to Stockton in 1948, then moved to Manteca in 1979.  After graduating from Edison High School in 1958, Jesse joined to U.S. Navy to see the world and served on the USS Ranger during his tour of duty.  He loved drawing, painting, vacationing with his family, taking snapshots and making video recordings of every special event.  He is preceded in death by his brothers Cirriano (Fred) A. Piceno of Maryland, Elias A. Piceno of Stockton and sister Carmen A. Piceno-White of Colorado.  

Jesse is survived by his four daughters, Lisa, LeNora, Tracy of Manteca and Jestina of Modesto and frandchildren Richard, Eric, Kiana, Anthony, Johnny, Mariah, Jacob and baby Jesse.  He will always be in our hearts and his memories will live on forever.

Jesse’s life will be celebrated by his family and friends on Friday, Jan 9, at 11 a.m. at Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.  He will be laid to rest at the Veterans San Joaquin Valley National Cemetery, Gustine at a date and time to be announced. Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
