Jewel L. Barlow Palmaymesa, 94, entered into rest on August 13, 2016 in Manteca, CA. She was born on April 27, 1922 in Maybank, TX. Jewel loved planting and watching her flowers grow and bloom. The thing she loved best was watching her ever growing family bloom. She will be remembered as a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great great grandmother.
   She is preceded in death by her parents A.J. and Laura Barlow and her husband of nearly 70 years, Floyd Palmaymesa, her sisters Katie, Jackie, Gerry and her brothers Buck and Herb.
   She is survived by her children Bill and Karen Palmaymesa of Albany, Oregon, daughter Linda and husband Herb McKinley of French Camp, CA, son Daniel and Mary Palmaymesa of Queen Creek, Arizona, daughter Diane and Dale Schoeman of Modesto, CA, son Rick Palmaymesa of French Camp, CA, 14 grandchildren, 20 great grandchildren, 10 great great grandchildren, sister Edna Gates of Simi Valley, CA, and numerous nieces and nephews.
   Arrangements have been entrusted to Deegan Funeral Chapels. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, August 20, 2016 at 10 a.m. at Ripon Cemetery.
