Joann Smith Sullivan, 78, entered into rest on December 2, 2012 in Manteca, CA. She was born in Youngstown, Ohio May 21, 1934.

Ms. Sullivan is survived by three children Denise Perez (Sebastian), Patti Benbrook (Donny), and Debi Parra (Steve Curtis). She was blessed with 15 grandchildren James Perez (Lisa), Christie Peel (Jim), Dominique Leibengood (Brett), Gwen Melena, Tiffany Saucedo (Adrian), Marcus Strickland (Rochelle), Michael Strickland (Leanna), Anthony Barbosa, Edward Barbosa (Alyssa), James Parra (Erika), Stacey Parra (Gary), Jacquelyn Parra, Kevin Parra, Franki Perez, Christian Perez. In addition Joann has 23 great-grandchildren and one brother Ron Sullivan.

Joann was a caring woman who loved God with all of her heart. She was the true definition of being beautiful inside and out. She adored her family as she was most content when spending quality time with them. She enjoyed entertaining at her home followed by a great home cooked meal made special for her guests. She was extremely talented especially when it came to crafting, painting and sewing. She had a green thumb and felt at peace while gardening. She was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan. She was fun to be around and loved to make others laugh. Joann will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She will be missed today, tomorrow and forever. We will love you and miss you until we meet again.
