Joanne G. Inderbitzin, 72, entered into rest on Tuesday, August 11 at her home in Manteca, surrounded by her family. She was born October 19, 1942 in Modesto to the late Alfred and Irene Fagundes.
Joanne leaves behind her husband of 53 years John Inderbitzin of Manteca, her sons, Rick Inderbitzin (Kelly) and Ron Inderbitzin (Kim) all of Ripon. She was blessed with eight grandchildren, Ricky, Katie, Sarah, Janessa, Kelsey, Ryan, Emily and Kailee.  Joanne was long time Manteca resident. She attended Castle Elementary and Manteca High School (Class of 1960). She married her husband John on June 24, 1962. Joanne worked for Campora Propane as a bookkeeper from 1960-1965 and 1977-1995.  She also worked as a teachers aid for Lincoln Elementary School in Manteca. During this time Joanne kept active with her sons school and sports. She was a member of New Haven P.T.A., East Union High Athletic Boosters and would serve as treasurer for the Manteca Cowboys.  Joanne was a past treasurer and secretary for Castle 4-H. Over the years Joanne’s devotion to her children would never fade as she would eventually follow her grandchildren to all of their sporting events to cheer them on. Her grandchildren were her pride and joy. She was loving, caring, selfless and very attentive to detail. She took great pride in the way she presented herself.  Always looking immaculate. She will be remembered as a most loving wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be dearly missed.
