Joe Martin Dias Sr., entered into rest on November 6, 2022 in Manteca, Ca. He was born on December 11, 1939 in Merced, Ca. 

   He is preceded in death by his parents George and Sophia Dias and his beloved wife Gerry Dias.

   Mr. Dias is survived by his children, Joe Martin Dias Jr. (Gina) and Candy Stage (Rod), grandchildren, Cody, Kimberly, Katherine, Amber, Ashleigh and Natalie and one sister Joyce Tyra.

   Joe proudly served his country through the United States Marine Corps. He eventually retired through the Government working for Sharps Army Depot for over 42 years. Joe enjoyed the simple things in life; fishing, hunting, gardening, reading, cooking, listening to music and watching westerns were some of his favorites. Joe was a gentle giant; he had patience’s of a saint, and a heart of gold. He will be remembered for his strong spirit, his caring heart and his unconditional love for family.

   P.L. Fry and Son is honored to be serving the Dias family. A visitation will be on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 2 p.m. to 6.p.m. held at P.L. Fry and Son Funeral Home, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, Ca. A graveside will be held on Wednesday, November 16, 2022 at 1:00 p.m. at Park View Cemetery, 3661 E. French Camp Rd., Manteca, Ca.
