Joe N. Terra, 75, of Manteca, passed away peacefully on Jan. 2. He was born on Oct. 27, 1933. He was former president of the FESM Portuguese Festa, and also a member. He was also former president of the Tracy Portuguese marching band. Joe loved pending time with his family, enjoying activities such as fishing, camping and gardening with them.

Joe is survived by his wife Barbara Terra; daughter, Rosemary Sellers of Manteca; two sons, Joseph Terra of Texas and Jonathan Terra of Modesto; grandchildren, Tiffany Laurenson of San Diego, Chasidy Laurenson and Brittany Laurenson both of Manteca, Adalicia Terra of Modesto, Matthew Terra and Brent Terra of Texas; and great-grandchild Aaliyah Laurenson Holmes on the way; and also a God child Riek Azevedo. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister.

Family and friends are invited to visitation viewing Tuesday, Feb. 10 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Jesse E. Cooley Jr. Funeral Services Inc., 640 N. California St., Stockton, CA 95202. A vigil mass will be held Wednesday, Feb. 11, at 1 p.m. at St. Anthony Catholic Church, 505 East North St., Manteca. Committal to follow the mass of St. John’s Catholic Cemetery, 17871 South Carrolton Road, Escalon.
