John “Gary” Morrison, 78, entered into rest on October 13, 2020 in Manteca, CA. He was born on April 24, 1942 in Pennsylvania.
   He is preceded in death by his mother and father, Charles and Permilla Morrison, siblings, Charles Morrison Jr., Patricia Caminos and Bob Morrison and one granddaughter, Jordan Morrison.
   Gary is survived by his loving family, children, Nancy Snyder, John G. Morrison Jr., Michael Morrison and Victoria Estrada (David). He was blessed 13 grandchildren, Jessica, Joseph, Andrew, Daniel, Garret, Kassie, Katie, Kameron, Adrian, Joshua, Timothy, Mary and Becky, along with 10 great-grandchildren. In addition, Gary is survived by his two best friends, Yogi and Christina.
   Gary was in the grocery business for over 40 years working for various stores including Mar-Val’s in Ripon and Valley Springs. In between his grocery career, Gary worked as a police officer for Campbell Police Department for approximately 6 years. Gary was extremely involved with his children and grandchildren volunteering with the Campbell Little League, Manteca Little League and the original Manteca Cowboys. He was a huge fan of the San Francisco Giants, the 49ers and NASCAR.  He was a member of the Manteca Moose Lodge where he enjoyed socializing with friends. He looked forward to his daily walks, reading the daily newspaper, doing crossword puzzles and spending time with his dog Sancho. Gary will be remembered as a ladies man who had an impeccable fun loving personality. He will be deeply missed by all who loved him.
