John Harlin Johnson passed away unexpectedly on Jan. 22, 2013 at the age of 66. He was born Sept. 14, 1946 in Tulsa, Ok.

John served 6 years in the Military. He worked at Morton Paint Co. for 20 years, owned and operated a trucking company, and worked another 20 years at Sierra Chemical. Johnny loved and enjoyed spending time with his family and was a very proud father, grandfather and loving husband. He never missed a softball or football game of his daughter’s or his grandchildren. Rain or shine, they could always count on “PaPa” being in the stands

John is preceded in death by his parents Harlin and Ruth Johnson, brother Leon Johnson and his beloved son Therrin Johnson. John is survived by his loving wife of 45 years, Ila Johnson, daughter Shelly Moore, grandchildren Lacey Ann and John-Therrin Agbulos, and sister Joyce Bradley.

Johnny will be greatly missed and always remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, brother, uncle, friend and veteran.

Viewing will be Monday, 1/28/13, 3:00 – 5:00 P.M. at Deegan Funeral Chapel

Graveside Services are Tuesday, 1/29/13, 10:00 A.M. at Burwood Cemetery, both located in Escalon, CA
