John Scarlata was born February 13, 1936 in Manteca California and passed away on October 17, 2025 in Stockton, California surrounded by his family.
He was a good man, an honorable man. He loved his family fiercely and took special care of his wife, Muriel. He was a great husband, father, brother, uncle grandfather, and great- grandfather
He was survived by his wife of 29 years Muriel Scarlata, sister, Marilyn Scarlata, sons; Matthew and Jonathan Scarlata step children, Sandra Nolan and Kenneth Cotton. He had 12 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. His best friends were August Bonfiglio and Jerry Baba. He was predeceased by his parents, Louis Sr and Rose Scarlata. daughter Janet Robinson, brothers Frank and Louis Jr Scarlata
He graduated from Manteca high school in 1954 He farmed most of his life and then worked and retired from Leprino cheese in Tracy, California
He loved his lawn and hobbies gardening. He preserved his own Olives that he grew.
He was an amazing man and will be greatly missed.
