John Ty Fredrick
December 22, 1959-June 2, 2015
John Ty Fredrick BW

On Tuesday June 2, 2015 John “Ty” Fredrick went to be with the Lord.
Ty was born on December 22, 1959 to Ray and Hazel Fredrick in Oakland, California and raised in the Bay Area.  He graduated from Sunset High School in Hayward California, class of 1978.
When Ty was growing up he was involved in Boy Scouts, and the Hayward Boys Club, as well as a paper boy for the Daily Review.  He began making donuts at the age of 15, and made a decent living for himself.
Ty married Anna Arsondi on April 16, 1983.  They just celebrated their 32nd wedding anniversary.  He helped her raise her son and daughter, and they had a daughter together. Ty moved his family to Manteca California in 1985, where he resided with Anna until his passing.
In 1996 Ty changed his career, and decided to become a truck driver.  After driving over the road for two years, he decided to come off the road.  He drove for several Mom and Pop companies around the Central Valley for a couple more years, and decided to go to work for Smart Transportation where he remained for the past ten years.  He worked hard and enjoyed his job.  He was well known around the valley by his Train Hat.
Ty was an avid fisherman, and he was a member of the Mossdale Militia.  He always said his fishing was his church.  Camping  and Boating with his family and friends was another passion of his.
Ty also collected Lionel Trains since he was a little boy and would set them up in his garage every Christmas.  He opened his garage door to the public this last Christmas.
Ty leaves behind his wife Anna, son and daughter in law Johnny and Emmy Pereira of Castro Valley, daughter Sharlene Pereira of Ripon, and daughter and son in law Kristina and Fred Pond of Manteca.  He was Papa to his three grandchildren, Logan, Sammy and Gio, his forth Karlee will be born in July,  as well as his two brothers and several nephews and nieces.   Ty is a man that will be surely missed by all who he has touched.  We love him and miss him forever.
Celebration of Life will be held Saturday, June 20, 2015 at 1:00 pm at First Christian Church, 1125 N. Union Road, in Manteca, California.
