John Vincent Rocks
John Vincent Rocks passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 9, surrounded by family at his home in Ripon, CA.  He was 84.
   John leaves behind his loving wife of 31 years, Betty Rocks. Born in Philadelphia on April 14, 1934, he was the youngest of seven children of Gertrude (Quinn) and Joseph Rocks.  John was preceded in death by his brothers Daniel, Patrick, James and Joseph Rocks.
   John spent his childhood in Philadelphia where he attended Roman Catholic High School (class of 1953) and went on to receive his degree in Business Management from LaSalle University in 1972. John was a Navy Veteran who served in the Korean War on the USS Kearsarge (CVA-33).  John moved his family from Warrington, PA to California in 1973. He became a Vice President of Manufacturing, at Elcon Products a position he held for many years. John will be remembered for his passion for sports, Irish music and his love and dedication for family.
   Loving husband of Betty Rocks.  Loving father of two daughters, Lynn (Kevin) Feltner of Fremont, CA and Lisa (Kieran) McKeogh of San Rafael, CA, six grandchildren, Steven, Kaitlin, Conor, Sean, Alex, Eric and one great grandchild, Evan; along with two sisters, Mary Baez of Warrington, PA and Sr. Helen Rocks I.H.M.  of Exton, PA. and sister in law Peg Rocks of Egg Harbor, NJ.  Three stepsons, Scott (Michele) Renke of West Des Moines, IA, Mark (Nancy) Renke of Elk Grove, CA and Jim (Kris) Renke of Sugar Grove, IL; 9 grandchildren, Christopher, Kyle, Kevin, Andrew, Michael, Matthew, Philip, Jonathan, Katie and six great grandchildren, Reed, Isaac, Joshua, Clara, Kathryn and Jacob and sister in law, Mel Cabral of Ripon, CA.  He is survived by a host of nieces, nephews and long-time friends.
   John lived and led and extraordinary life and will be greatly missed. John was never afraid to be himself and was always kind and respectful.  His motto was to love family, enjoy friends, and give to others.  
   A funeral mass will be held at 11a.m.  on Wednesday, June 20, 2018 at Saint Patrick’s Catholic Church, 19399 E. Hwy 120 Ripon, CA.
