Johnnie Lee McCurdy, 72, entered into rest on November 20, 2010 at Alexander Cohen Hospice House, in Hughson, California. He was born on October 16, 1938 in French Camp California. Johnnie was a retired process control operator after 40 years of service.

Mr. McCurdy joins his wife in heaven, Ruth O. McCurdy. He is survived by his children: John Matthew McCurdy of Vacaville, Phillip Michael McCurdy of Lodi, Bonnie Supnet of Sacramento and Norma Hallmark of Lodi. He was blessed by 7 grandchildren: Tawny, Jake, Max, Misty, Erik, Brandi, and Andrea.

 Johnnie graduated from Manteca High School in 1956. He was a veteran of the United States Air Force proudly serving his county for four years. Johnnie will be remembered as devoted husband, loving father and grandfather. He will be missed.

 Mr. McCurdy’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. Visitation will be held on Saturday, Nov. 27, 2010, from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. held at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca, CA. A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. at East Union Cemetery 1035 N.
