Joe leaves behind his children, Tev Erion (Dennis) and J.R. Machado (Brenda) He was blessed with three grandchildren, Ryan Erion, Kayla Erion, Nathan Machado and two great grandchildren, Brayden Erion and Lana Lorraine Erion. He also leaves behind his three siblings; Lawrence Machado, Bob Machado and Dan Machado.
Joe was a life time resident of Manteca graduating from Manteca High in 1958. He worked in transportation as a dispatcher for both H&M transportation and Cargill transportation. While working in transportation Joe worked most of his life on the family ranch tending to the horses, irrigating and general maintenance. He enjoyed horseback riding with his late wife especially trail riding up in Point Reyes. Family was most important to Joe; whether it was spending time at home relaxing, traveling or camping Joe always made sure family was involved in all of his endeavors. Joe will be remembered as a loving father, grandfather, brother and friend. He will be deeply missed.
P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Machado family. A celebration of life will be held at Chez Shari’s Thursday, June 30, 2016 at 11:30 a.m. 305 N. Union Rd. Manteca, Ca. He will be laid to rest with his beloved wife at Park View Cemetery.
