Joseph P. Delmanowski, 90, passed away on Saturday, February 27, 2021 after a twelve year battle with Alzheimer’s.
   Joe son of Joseph and Sophie Delmanowski has lived in Manteca since 1962 and was a native of La Salle, Illinois. He worked at LOF Glass Company in Lathorp for 35 years and retired from the company in 1992. He was a member of the Army National Guard and was a veteran of the Korean War.  “Pops” was an avid bowler and fisherman and was a diehard Chicago Cubs and Bears Fan.
   Joe is survived by his wife of 65 years, Carole Young Delmanowski, children, Steve Delmanowski (Barbara) of Phoenix, AZ., Dale Delmanowski (Sandy of Kingsburg, CA., Karen Williams (Kurt) of Murfreesboro, TN., and Michael Delmanowski (Sue) of Santa Rosa, CA.
   He was also blessed by 12 grand- children and seven great-grandchildren. In addition, Joe has two surviving siblings, Judith Rigby of Peru, Ill. and Ronald Delmanowski of Masa, AZ.
   A special Thanks to the staff at Gelzhen Assisted Living for their excellent and loving care during the past 18 months.
