Juanita A. Wadlow

Juanita A. Wadlow, 97, a Stockton resident of 66 years, entered into rest on Dec. 27, 2008.

She was born on August 15, 1911 in Oklahoma to the late Mr. & Mrs. D. and Ora Ballard.  She was preceded in death by her beloved husband Earl Wadlow Sr. and her daughter Gwen Seklecki.  

Juanita is survived by her daughter Earlene and Troy McManus of Stockton and son Earl and Joan Wadlow Jr. of Stockton; and siblings Richard Ballard of Oklahoma and Calvin Ballard of Los Angeles. She was also blessed by five grandchildren; David McManus, Roxanne Custer, Kim Albin, Debra Seklecki and Shelley Ferraro as well as numerous great grandchildren.

For over 25 years Juanita was a care home provider for mentally gifted children. She was a very reserved lady who had a heart of gold. She was a great cook and loved gardening, sewing and reading. Above all Juanita loved her family; special times, memories and gatherings were held very close to her heart.

Services for Mrs. Wadlow are being held under the direction of P.L. Fry & Son of Manteca. Services will be held on Friday, Jan. 2, at 1 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Road, Manteca. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Park View Cemetery privately.
