Juanita Corona
November 28, 1936-October 27, 2017
Juanita Corona K

On Friday, October 27, surrounded by her loving family, our beloved Juanita Corona was welcomed into her Lord’s loving arms. Juanita was born November 28, 1936 to parents Felix and Bernadina Sanchez in General Cepeda, Coahuila Mexico.
In the early 50s she immigrated to the United States via Texas with her parents and siblings, working in the fields and helping care for her younger siblings, later settling in Tracy, CA with her siblings and families where she raised her four daughters, and worked at Heinz, Co as their lead mechanic. In the early 80s she moved to Lathrop, CA, met and married her beloved husband Rogelio.  She retired from Heinz after 35 years at the age of 62.
A loving wife, devoted mother and grandmother, Juanita spent her years dedicated to the family she loved. She was of strong Christian faith and passed that onto her children. She had a work ethic of which held no equal. After retirement she was able to see her cherished grandchildren often and to visit places she never thought she would. She enjoyed gardening, reading, was known for her cooking and her welcoming home. She had an incorrigible sense of humor and a funny, cantankerous personality, loved to tease her brothers and was loyal and caring to a fault to those she loved.
Juanita is survived by her devoted husband, Rogelio, three daughters, Sylvia Marley (Mark) of Goleta, CA., Sandy Rivas (Martin) of Manteca, CA and Sally A. Garza, of Elk Grove, CA.  Their eldest daughter Sonia Garza preceded her in death in 2008, her beloved grand- children, Delany, Ryan and Cameron Marley of Goleta, CA. Her siblings Tomasa Espinoza, Lupe Sanchez (Mage), Rosa Ruiz, Rey Sanchez (Lucy), Elidia Castenada (Alejandro) Mary Lopez (Lencho). Her sister Ninfa Garcia preceded her in death.
