Judith Ray Pacheco, 71, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on Monday, June 11, 2018. She was born in French Camp on December 12, 1946 to the late Warren and Mary Dale.
Judy leaves behind her loving husband of 50 years Charles Pacheco of Manteca, her children, Jeannie Pacheco-Seward and husband JoMayo Seward of Lathrop, Charles Carl Pacheco III and fiancée Amy Jenner. In addition she was blessed with three beautiful grand- daughters, Justice Ja’Maya, Ja’Vina Jewel and JeniKa Journey.
Judy was a life-long resident of Manteca. She attended Yosemite Grammar School and graduated from Manteca High School’s Class of 1964. Judy went on to earn her Bachelor’s Degree at Stanislaus State and taught for 33 years at Nile Garden Elementary School. She was a member of St. Paul’s Methodist Church and was member of the Federated Women’s Club, serving as President and other positions. She loved the outdoors, camping, fishing and spending time in her garden. Judy loved the Hwy 88, Silver Lake area in California, and Gunnison, Colorado.  She enjoyed a good book and knitted beautifully. As an educator Judy was wonderful and beloved by her students. She was tenacious, but with the most encouraging spirit. She knew how to find the best in every child, and worked to nurture and build upon these qualities.  Judith adored her grandchildren; her soul purpose had become spoiling them and looked forward to spending time with them.  She held a special place in her heart for dogs as they were very much a part of her family. Judy loved her husband dearly and they were the best of friends.
Judy lived her life with perseverance and dedication. She left an imprint on many lives as a wife, mother, grandmother, teacher and friend. She will be deeply, deeply missed.
