Julianna “Julia” Lizarraga, 84, entered into rest on February 1, 2013 in Manteca, Ca. She was born on January 9, 1929 in Parlier, Ca. She joins her husband in heaven Candelairo Lizarraga and her son Alfred Lizarraga.

Mrs. Lizarraga is survived by her children Mary Haro, Caroline Stone, Susan Lizarraga, and Albert Lizarraga. She was blessed by 10 grandchildren; Sherri Lizarraga, Nicole Lizarraga, Lisa Ainsworth, Janett Haro, Angelene Brinks, Jimmy Lizarraga, Jesse Patterson, Tina and Angie Limas and Tanya Lizaarraga. She has one brother Jesse Haro and one sister Antonia Vielma. She adored her 24 great-grandchildren and her 1 great-great grandchildren.

Julia was a resident of Manteca for over 80 years. She was a member of St. Anthony’s Catholic Church. She loved dancing and singing as she was always full of life. She enjoyed tending to her garden and was an exceptional seamstress. She loved to have fun and was always the life of the party. She was a wonderful cook and loved to entertain family and friends. She was a magnificent story-teller as she loved to reminisce about old times. Julia will be remembered for her feisty fun loving personality. She will be missed.

P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Lizarraga family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, February 7, 2013 from 1 to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home 290 N. Union Rd. Manteca. A mass will be on February 8, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. held at St. Anthony’s Catholic Church 505 E. North St. Manteca. She will be laid to rest at St. John’s Catholic Cemetery.
