   June M. Snyder passed away peacefully on November 12, 2014, at the age of 91, in Stockton, CA.  She was born on May 28, 1923, in Boise, Idaho, to Charles William and Madolin June (Kaiser) Hargraves.  She moved from Boise to Bellingham, WA, in 1933 when her father was offered a job with Sears.  She attended Bellingham High, and graduated in 1941.  June worked as a payroll supervisor at Bellingham shipyard during WWII. 
   She met her future husband, John Wilmer Snyder who was a Sargent in the Army.  They married on April 25, 1943.  Their son, John Charles (Jack) was born in Bellingham in 1947. They moved to CA when Jack was 18 months old.  They lived in Rio Linda, Stockton and then Modesto where they had two more sons, James Lawrence who was born in 1950, and Jeffrey Wayne, born in 1952.  In 1955, they got in to the turkey business while living in Escalon.  In 1956, they moved to Roseville, and Jere Robert was born.  When Jere was eight months old, they moved to Manteca, CA, and raised turkeys for 29 years.  In 1985, June and John returned to Modesto, CA.
   June belonged to the Escalon Presbyterian Church, and Spring Creek Golf and Country Club.  John retired at 58 years old, and they spent the next 30 years playing golf and bowling.
   June is survived by her four sons, eight grandchildren, three step grandchildren and one step great granddaughter.
   Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 19, 2014, from 1:00 P.M. to 5:00 P.M. at Deegan Funeral Chapel in Escalon.  A graveside service will be Thursday, November 20, 2014, at 11:00 A.M. at Burwood Cemetery in Escalon.  For condolences to the family, please visit www.deeganfuneralchapels.com.
