Kasmer “Kas” Baracosa Jr. passed peacefully Thursday, September 28th, at the age of 85 in the comfort of his home in Manteca.   Kasmer was born in Fairfield, CA on March 16, 1938.

   Kas worked for PGE for 35 years before he retired as a General Foreman in Manteca.

   He is survived by his wife Ruth Baracosa, three daughters, Lorrie Herrera, Renee Dixon, Paula Baracosa, son; James Baracosa, thirteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and his 10 siblings.

   Kas was a family man, a true friend, and a loving husband with a heart of gold. He will be deeply missed.

   A Celebration of Life will be held in Manteca on November 10, at 11 a.m., at Crossroads Community Church.
