Katherine Beatrice Payan, 95, entered into rest August 13, 2020 in California. She was born on May 15, 1925 in California to the late John and Maria Leon. In heaven she joins, her adored husband 65 years Joe Payan and son Joey Payan.
She leaves behind her children, Dolores M. Wright, Larry F. Payan and David P. Payan, all of Manteca. In addition, she was blessed with three grandchildren, Patrick J. Payan of Manteca, Kenneth M. Wright of Manteca, Rachael K. Chand of Visalia, 10 great- grandchildren and one great-great-great- grandchild. Katherine also has two surviving siblings, Paul Leon of Modesto and Gloria Montez of Modesto.
Katherine was a longtime Manteca resident. She loved her family dearly and was a faithful Catholic. Katherine will be remembered as a loving mother and grandmother.
