Kathleen Ann Howard, 41, entered into rest on Saturday, October 2, 2010 in Salida. She was born on October 16, 1968 in Santa Rosa. She joins her father in heaven Stephen Koppi.

Mrs. Howard is survived by her husband of 20 years Gary Howard of Salida. She adored her two beautiful daughters; Cassidy Ann Howard, age 13 and Haley Mae Howard, age 8, both of Salida. Her mother is Shirley Koppi of San Andreas. She has 4 siblings; Steve Koppi of Valley Springs, Joe Koppi of Morgan Hill, Rick Koppi of San Andreas, and Judy Cipriano of Morgan Hill.

Kathleen was a resident of Salida for over 14 years. She was a member of Ripon Free Methodist Church. She enjoyed swimming, playing with her dog Spencer, and going to the movies. She loved the rain, drinking Starbucks pumpkin lattes, shoes, trick or treating and catching up on Facebook.

Spending time with her daughters meant the world to her; she cherished special outings as they often got their hair and nails done together and commonly went to the mall for a day of shopping. As a family they loved going to concerts, baking cookies and eating out at her favorite restaurant, The Elephant Bar. She loved to cook as she was especially known for her enchiladas, lasagna, and stroganoff. Kathleen loved her family dearly and treasured each and every moment she spent with her husband and daughters. She will be missed and never forgotten.

Mrs. Howard’s services are being handled by P.L. Fry & Son Funeral Home of Manteca. A visitation will be held on Saturday, October 9,  from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., followed by a celebration of life service at 1 p.m. All will take place at P.L. Fry & Son, 290 N. Union Road, Manteca.
