Kenneth Beer, 81, entered into rest on June 12, 2016 in Manteca, CA. He was born on September 11, 1934 in Montana to the late Ira and Ethel Beer. Mr. Beer is survived by his wife Margaret Beer, children; Glenn Beer, Katherine Napolitano, grandchildren Julie Beer, Anna Napolitano, greatgrandchildren; Kaitlin and Nathan Beer and his siblings; John Beer and Katherine Harris. Kenneth was a member of the Operating Engineers Local 39 working for various companies including Spreckels - Manteca and Heinz - Tracy. He proudly served his country through the United States Army. He enjoyed the simple things in life; woodworking and fishing were some of his favorites. He was a frequent patron of both Burger King Manteca and Bean and Leaf Café for over 20 years.   Kenneth has a an unconditional love for both family and children. He and his wife made a 33 year commitment for taking care of new born foster children passionately loving and caring for these precious babies. Kenneth will be remembered as a devoted family man, he will be deeply missed. P.L .Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Beer family. A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 16, 2016 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at P.L. Fry & Son 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca. Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, June 17, 2016 at 1:30 p.m. also held at P.L. Fry & Son. He will be laid to rest at East Union Cemetery.
