Lavonna Jean Sullivan, 77, passed away February 7, 2012 of pancreatic cancer at the Hospice Care House in Stockton. She was born in Hobart, Oklahoma on February 17, 1934 to Clyde and Nodie Holly. She was the youngest of 3 children. Her older brothers were Harvey who passed away in 1985 and Max who currently lives in San Jose. She was married to Fred Sullivan who passed away in 1969. She is survived by two sons, Mitchell Sullivan (Lisa) of Washington and Dennis Sullivan of Nevada.

Lavonna moved from Oklahoma to Ripon, CA in 1940. Her family relocated to Richmond, CA. She graduated from Richmond High School. She moved to Manteca in 1973 and has been a resident ever since. She worked for Franzia Winery from 1978 to 1999 and is still a member of the CA Winery Workers Union.

Her surviving 6 grandchildren are Jason Sullivan, Charles Sullivan, Shelly Mosbrucker, Leticia Sullivan, Tracy Frazier and Denise Pettis, all of Washington State.

Her surviving 18 great granchildren are Kayla Marie Sullivan, Breanna Love Sullivan, Stormy Leigh Sullivan, Alex Sullivan, Dakota Sullivan, Ciara Farley, Matthew Farley, Emma Mosbrucker, Kyle Miller, Kody Miller, Marcellino Jara, Luke Pettis, Jake Pettis, Sampson Pettis, Quyntin Frazier, Kyle Frazier, Tyson Frazier and Austyn Frazier.

Graveside Services will be held Friday, Feb. 10, 11 a.m. at the Park View Cemetery & Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca, CA. Lavonna will be buried next to her parents Clyde and Nodie Holly. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the American Cancer Society in Lavonna's name.
