Lee Horace McLarty of Manteca passed away on January 21, in Manteca, at the age of 78. Lee was born on August 28, 1931 in Tupelo, MS. He was a resident of Manteca for 40 years and worked as an agricultural foreman.

Lee is survived by his wife, Ofelia Herrera-McLarty; his children, Vanessa and Alejandra Herrera-McLarty and Ronnie, Jim, Rick, Mike and Teresa McLarty; his step-children, Peter and Joe Herrera, Rebecca Mejia and Vicky Villanueva-Aguirre; his sisters, Helen, Marilyn and Betty McLarty; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild. He was preceded in death by his parents, Quay Grover McLarty and Verna Bass-McLarty, and his brother, Billie Joe McLarty.

Visitation for Lee will be held on Tuesday January 26, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the Park View Memorial Chapel, 3661 E. French Camp Road in Manteca; funeral service to follow.  Arrangements are being handled by Park View Funeral Home, 3661 E. French Camp Road, Manteca.
