Leo Osuna 001 LT

Leodegario “Leo” Osuna Lizarraga, 78, entered into rest on October 15, 2014 in French Camp, California. He was born on October 2, 1936 in San Marcos, Mexico.

Leo is survived by his loving wife of 50 years Savina and their three children; Pilar Sexton, Leodegario “Leo” Osuna Jr. (Linda Padula) and Mario Osuna (Kristein Jones). He was blessed with four grandchildren; Mario Osuna, Kelci, Tiffany-Ann, and Kyle and one great-granddaughter; Olivia. In addition Leo has 8 surviving siblings; Blanco, Lupe, Armando, Castulo, Tonio, Rodrigo, Chewy and Rosario.

Leo was a resident of both Manteca and French camp for over 65 years. For the past 10 years he was self-employed, owning Osuna Wood & Tanks. Leo previously worked for the Arnaudo Brothers for 28 years and Poly-Cal Plastics for 10 years. He attended both Good Shepard Mission in French Camp and St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Ripon. Leo was a kind-hearted man who always gave of himself with no reserve. He enjoyed visiting with friends, listening to Mexican music, tending his vegetable garden and just relaxing. He was an extremely hard worker as providing for his family was always his number one priority. His gentle sweet character always superseded his tough exterior. Leo will be remembered as a devoted family man who was a loving husband, wonderful father and a very special grandfather. He will be deeply missed.
