Leon Charles Moore
Leon Charles Moore entered into Heaven on April 30, 2018, at the age of 90.  He was born December 18, 1927 to John and Jettie Moore in Wetumka, OK.
   He leaves behind his children, Peggy (Leon) Kitzmiller, David (Shelley) Moore, Patricia (Michael) Foster, Dennis Moore, Leonard (Sandy) Moore, xxxx (Pamela) Moore and Alvin (Kristen) Moore, twenty-one  grandchildren, thirty-seven great- grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.   He is also survived by his siblings, Don, Dwight, Bill, Mary and Gracie, and many nephews and nieces.
   He is preceded in death by his loving wife of 65 years, Evelyn (Ebert) Moore, his son Timothy, daughter Brenda, siblings Paul, Wanda and John II, and his parents.
  Leon was employed for 45 years as a welder and retired from Simplot Chemical Co. after 35 years.
   While he and his wife (nicknamed Suzie) raised their eight children, he worked on building and adding on to their house on Edison St. He also made many projects of wood and metal – three go-carts, an airplane, and a windmill…to name a few.
   Before moving to Manteca in 1956, he and his wife and four children lived in Yakima, WA.  He built a house on Beech St. for his beautiful bride.  They lived in Washington for eight years and in Manteca for 62 years.  His family and friends will miss Dad and Grandpa Moore.
  Funeral and burial services were held May 8, 2018 at Park View Cemetery.
