Leroy Price Judd, age 81, passed away on May 5, 2010 after a short illness. Leroy was a longtime Manteca resident who worked at Knapp Ford for 30-plus years before retiring to Valley Springs.  Leroy was born on January 12, 1929 in Roaring Springs, Texas.

Leroy graduated from Manteca High School where he was active in all sports. He was a longtime Lion’s Club member, served on the Manteca School Board and was active in local and traveling men’s softball leagues. Leroy was a proud Veteran of the Korean War. He also loved John Wayne movies.

Mr. Judd is survived by his wife of 12 years Ollie Wood of Burson, his daughters, Coleen Sparkman (James) of Modesto, Janet Judd (Tim Smith) of Roseburg, OR., and Susan Hills of Manteca. In addition he has 7 grandchildren, Amanda Fromdahl (Aric), Elyce Silva (Nick), James Ruble, Andrea Robinson (Dave), Stephanie Hills, Brianne Sparkman, Connor Sparkman,  and 1 great-grandson, Hunter. He was preceded in death by his 5 brothers and one granddaughter (Kendall Sparkman) and one son-in-law (Dan Hills).  

Services will be private. Donations in his memory can be made to the charity of your choice.
