Lewis Wade Casey, 21, entered into rest on October 9, 2016 in Tracy, CA. He was born on October 26, 1994 in Monterey, CA.
He is survived by his family, mother and step dad Danielle and Troy Coleman; father David Casey; siblings; Savannah Casey and Garrett Casey, grandparents Linda Smith and Nancy Casey; nieces Alyssa and Emily; as well as many other extended family members who loved him dearly.
Lewis was a resident of Tracy for the past year but grew up in Manteca where he called home. He attended both Joshua Cowell and Woodward Elementary School. He graduated from Manteca High School in 2013. Lewis had a genuine heart with an optimistic attitude, always speaking positive about others. He enjoyed the company of his many friends but his brother was his true best friend in life. He was a gentleman by choice always winning the hearts of others as he would make a point of being kind, honorable and never forgetting to say please and thank you. He was as avid San Diego Charger fan always cheering his team to victory. Lewis was a “Chill” kind of guy always going with the flow. His family meant the world to him as he loved each of them unconditionally. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In the midst of this sudden tragedy a forever light will shine strong and bright as Lewis will continue to shine through others. He is considered a hero to many, giving the gift of organ donation. His story and love will continue on forever.
P.L. Fry & Son is honored to be serving the Lewis family. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, October 22, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at P.L. Fry & Son Chapel, 290 N. Union Rd., Manteca, CA. An online guest book is available for condolences at www.plfryandson.com (search obituaries).
