Linda Cagle
July 10, 1960-April 22, 2014
Linda Cagle bw

Linda Cagle, 53, entered in to eternal rest surrounded by her loving family on April 22, 2014 in Modesto, CA. She was born in Duisburg, Germany on July 10, 1960 to Hurchel and Ilse Melton.  Linda leaves behind many broken hearts including those of her parents, her loving husband of 24 years, Jim Cagle of Modesto; stepson James Cagle, her only sister, Brenda Melton-Duran and husband Mike of Manteca, her adored nieces, Lindsey Palm-Dyson (James) of Oakdale, Ashley Palm of Santa Rosa and nephew Randy Duran. As well as step granddaughter, Alison Marie Cagle and great-nephew Andrew Dyson.
Linda was a Manteca High 1978 graduate. She made her home in Manteca for 30 years before moving to Modesto, where she lived for 24 years. She was a Purchasing Coordinator for Olam Spice and Vegetables for 30 years. She enjoyed traveling, especially alongside her husband. Linda had an eclectic taste of music, from Elvis Presley’s most beautiful melodies to Kid Rock and Eminem’s hearty rhythms. Linda enjoyed a day out with the girls (her nieces) looking intensely for that perfect pair of shoes, or most often, a special gift for them. She was considerate and planned each day and event never missing any minor detail. She kept her garden and home immaculate, whether it be Linda herself in the garden, or her doting husband. Linda had the most beautiful approach to making you feel simply valuable.   She had a zest for life that was indescribable, and was one of the most valiant fighters. Linda flew into the arms of an angel, but her essence will live on forever.
