Linda Webster, 49, entered into rest surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, October 3, 2015 in Manteca. She was born on December 18, 1965 in New York. In heaven she joins her father Richard Webster and her adored grandbaby, Steven Joaquin Neely.
Linda leaves behind her mother Elaine Davis of Manteca, children Justin Davis of Manteca and Nicole Neely (Steven) of Manteca. Linda has one surviving sister Michelle Rea (Ben) of Manteca. In addition Linda has three nieces and nephews that loved their aunt dearly, Nate Mocabee, Natalie Mocabee and Deseray Frye.
Linda was a bay area native. She attended San Leandro High and held many accounting jobs after high school. She later would work for the Alameda County, as a deputy technician, where she made countless friends. She was regimented and firm. Her “A” personality never went unnoticed, always willing to organize or assist with balancing a check book. Linda was independent and persevering. As a single mother Linda strived to give the best to her children. She spoke her mind and never held back. Her larger than life spirit was felt by everyone. She loved fully and made everyone feel welcomed. Linda was most at peace on a beach, listening to the waves, and letting the water wash up on her feet. Her family was her everything and loved them each in her own special way. She will be remembered for her smile that lit up a room and for having the best collection of tie dye shirts. Linda will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
