Lindley (Lin) Reeves was born in Stockton, CA on December 9, 1951. He went to Ripon High School and was an all-league football player.
He married his high school sweetheart, Ann Luis of Escalon, CA in 1971 and enjoyed an incredible 50 years of marriage to her. Together they raised a family of three children in Manteca and Escalon. A real renaissance man, Lin was an avid motorcyclist and fisherman, his passions taking him on fantastic trips all over the Western US, Mexico and Europe. A sports enthusiast his whole life, he was active as the President of the Escalon Sports Boosters and an announcer for the Tri-City Outlaws football team. He worked at Aksland Real Estate in Manteca before opening his own Help-U-Sell offices in Manteca, Lathrop and Tracy. After retiring from real estate, he and his wife Ann realized a life-long dream of moving to the California coast. They settled in beautiful Fort Bragg, CA where Lin passed away peacefully on Wednesday, February 17, surrounded by his loving family.
He is survived by his wife Ann, his mother, Donnie Reeves, sisters, Linda Aksland and Karen Munoz and his children, Jeremy, Josh and Jennifer. He was also the wonderful grandpa to seven grandkids and a beloved uncle, in-law and friend to many. "Lunker Lin" will be sorely missed by all who loved him.
Service will be announced at a later date.
